Zeitgeist Moving Forward
The Venus Project is an organisation that proposes a feasible plan of action for social change, one that works towards a peaceful and sustainable global civilisation.
It outlines an alternative to strive toward where human rights are no longer paper proclamation but a way of life. Through the implementation of a resource-based economy, and a multitude of innovative and environmentally friendly technologies directly applied to the social system, The Venus Project proposals will dramatically reduce crime, poverty, hunger, homelessness, and many other pressing problems that are common throughout the world today. Watch the film that highlights the problem of current market-monetary system and possible solutions:

The Wall by David Hare
Article 'The Wall' is a look into the problem of the fence - into a problem of a separation barrier that causes one nation dividing themselves from the other - not just in terms of boarder, but on a deeper level - it is separation as a philosophy. David Hare is an English playwriter and film director. He's well known as a founder of Portable Theatre Company in late 60's and early 70's. David Hare is in my opinion the most influential modern political writer.
The Wall is currently in production and Myshkin Group is expecting to present the performance early next year in Brussels. Link to the full text below:

'Birdbath' by Leonard Melfi at Etcetera Theatre, London
Myshkin Theatre presents Birdbath by Leonard Melfi, from 10 to 13 March 2010. Directed by Pawel Kropinski, starring Frances Bushe, James Dutton. Eyes meet across a bar, there is a pause and in that moment a young man and woman connect, but this is not a love story. In 1960s New York two troubled individuals try and find solace in one another. Velma, played by Frances Bushe, can’t stop shaking, her nerves and stuttering belying her positive demeanour. In the late night Cafeteria where she works she meets Frankie, played by James Dutton. Together they try and forget but some things are not so easy to push aside. Below press release:

Political and moral dilemma of the character in David Hare's dramas.
The essay about the Skylight by David Hare is a detailed analysis of a background of that acclaimed English writer and his reoccurring motives that begin early with Slag (1970) and follows him even today, after over 30 years of writing for film, television and theatre. All his characters face a choice - it is a choice on the moral and political level, that is often connected and tangled in daily life. David Hare has got that unique quality of pointing out that everything we do will have bigger consequence in the reality that we influence - whether we want it or not.
